Best PlaceJuice Reviews

It’s a no from me. Not very cozy, no prices on the menu or on boards - can’t speak for everyone but I like to know what things cost before I can order. Brekkie is quite big, but feels more American than English, since it has no veggies included. The sausage reminded me more of vegan sausages than anything meaty. And my plate had a thick black hair on it. I know it can happen but when it’s this visible, it should have been noticed by them before serving. Just not impressed. I felt like they would do better with a different type of cuisine.
Ordered for chips and bacon and kids egg and chips. Oil used to fry the chips was overused, the milkshake was nothing to write home about, for £3.75 and it being a cafe, i assumed it would be freshly made not a bottle of yazoo strawberry milkshake in a cup. I got an iced coffee and boy did i regret it.
Food got delivered it was covered in the hot chocolate i ordered they put it in the same bag as the food I called them up and she was very rude told me to call user eats . So no food and no money back ...
Ordered on Uber eats tuna and cheese Panini with the customer note that I didn’t want the Panini and if I could have tuna and cheese Baguette (they don’t have tuna cheese baguette on menu) and it came and one of the best baguettes I’ve ever had the tuna isn’t soaked in sauce, nice even amount of cheese and the baguette was soft and overall the best baguette that Ive order and from now will only be going here :). I like the prices aswell defo get your moneys worth.
Extremely low quality ingredients not matching very high prices for such a run down underprivileged area it is wrong to charge these prices. Their cooking oil is also reused far too much leaving a nasty taste on the fry up
Dined in On 29.08.21 (Sunday)
The food was well presented and timely bought to our table. The coffee was moderate in taste with good cup size.
The food was flavoursome with a good portion size of variety of things on the plate (Jumbo breakfast with Fried Egg).
Asked modification which they were happy to accommodate.
Wished there was options for Juices as not everyone might want to have tea/coffee with breakfast.
The waitress was very friendly and upbeat making small talk and making sure everything was good with the food and the service.
Definitely recommend some more organisation in terms of back counter settings.
ok place coffe is nice sausage is a bit mushy sometimes.decent bacon and egg just sometimes when you come out of there you end up smelling like the breakfast gets on your clothes and makes you smell like the fryer
Disgusting. Bacon was too salty to eat, beans were cheap and sweet but salty, the sausage was mushy and no taste, toast best part but soggy and the egg was fluffy and good

Quick Facts About The Grove Cafe

The Grove Cafe has received a variety of comments, both positive and negative. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, it is necessary to analyze each comment and identify common themes.
Starting with the weaknesses, one frequent complaint is the lack of coziness and ambiance. The comment "It's a no from me" suggests that the cafe does not create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for its customers. This is an important aspect for many diners who seek a pleasant environment to enjoy their meals.
Another weakness highlighted by multiple comments is the absence of prices on the menu or on boards. Customers express a desire to know the cost of their meal before placing an order. This lack of transparency in pricing can lead to confusion and dissatisfaction among customers, as they may feel uncertain about what they are paying for.
Several reviewers also criticized the breakfast options, particularly the lack of vegetables included in the meals. One comment states that the breakfast feels more American than English, which suggests that the cafe may not fully cater to the preferences and expectations of its British customers. Additionally, there were complaints about the quality of the sausage, with one customer comparing it to vegan sausages instead of meaty sausages.
Hygiene issues were also raised by one customer who found a thick black hair on their plate. Although such incidents can occur in any establishment, the fact that it was visible and not identified before serving suggests a lack of attention to cleanliness and quality control.
Moving on to the strengths of The Grove Cafe, one customer had a positive experience with their order of a tuna and cheese baguette. They described it as one of the best baguettes they have ever had, praising the even amount of cheese, softness of the bread, and overall taste. This indicates that the cafe is capable of producing high-quality and delicious food when it meets the customer's preferences.
Another positive aspect highlighted by a customer is the presentation and timely delivery of the food. They also mentioned that the coffee had a good cup size and the food was flavorsome with a good portion size. Accommodating customer modifications and the friendly and upbeat demeanor of the waitress were also noted as positive experiences.
One reviewer appreciated the pricing, stating that they felt they got their money's worth. This suggests that the cafe offers reasonable prices that are perceived as fair by some customers.
In terms of weaknesses, a few comments mentioned low-quality ingredients not matching the high prices. This indicates a disparity between the cost and the quality of the food, which can be a significant drawback for customers. Another comment noted that the cooking oil used for frying was overused, resulting in a negative taste in the food.
One reviewer mentioned that the cafe has a lingering smell of the fryer that can transfer onto customers' clothes. This suggests a lack of proper ventilation or cleaning measures, which can negatively impact the dining experience.
In conclusion, The Grove Cafe has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. The weaknesses include a lack of coziness, absence of prices on the menu, a limited choice of vegetables in the breakfast options, hygiene issues, and quality inconsistencies. On the other hand, the strengths include positive experiences with specific menu items, good presentation and timeliness of food, accommodating modifications, friendly service, and reasonable pricing. The cafe would benefit from addressing the weaknesses and building on the strengths to improve the overall customer experience.
