Best PlaceJuice Reviews

It's decent, chips are nice and your stuff like beans, curry and gravy are all nice and hot. My big issue is things like fish, fishcakes, sausages etc are all cooked before you even order and often have been sat under the heat lamps for a while and aren't very pleasant to eat especially the fish which dries out and the batter becomes rock hard. I often ask for freshly cooked but it's met with grumbles and told it is fresh etc. The owner despises women and will completely ignore them if possible and is very abrupt. The other guy who works there is very polite and always smiling. The lady who works there sometimes is a bit hit and miss as to how you're served but overall its a decent place for a quick bite.
Poor food quality, hygiene is definitely a lucky day on the hygiene rating and the owner is awful to talk to
Prices and portions were okay, the service wasn't too bad, they made me a fresh sausage but when I ate it, it tasted foul as soon as I put it in my mouth, couldn't even chew it, the chips were okay as well, but they didn't taste completely right. From the reviews it sounds like a nice place when everything is fresh, otherwise not a great experience
We used to love this chippy! Chips cheese and gravy and battered sausage has always been the best around. However, the last visit was very unpleasant: have you changed suppliers? Sausage was not very nice at all and the gravy was horrible! If you have, I hope you guys go back to the usual supplier or you have definitely lost 2 customers!
Absolutely delicious Haddock. A fresh delivery arrived 10 minutes before frying. Perfectly done golden crispy batter and 2 Large portions cost £9. I
will certainly be going back for more a
I can highly recommend The Regal. Thanks. 18th June, 2020.
When myself and my partner visited Regal's fish and chips we were greeted with kind welcoming from the staff team. The shop was immaculate and the service could not have been faulted. From reading the very little negative reviews on this page, I personally am shocked. The staff where customer friendly, helpful and extremely polite. The shop had excellent hygiene control and I had no concerns about getting my food from there. Compared to many other fish and chips around Lincoln and the rest of the take aways down high Street, I can honestly say that Regal has without a doubt been the best quality food and customer service. The price on the food is more than generous considering the big portions they provide. I recommend this fish and chips shop to those who are new to Lincoln and those who love their fish and chips on a Friday night. Definitely the place to go if you fancy fantastic quality fish and chips. VISIT REGAL TO GET YOURS NOW
Best place for kebab meat and chips I have found and they do the best the chilli sauce to go on it. It is a proper chip shop so they serve real fresh chips, not frozen fries like the rest of them. The staff are friendly and they keep their shop very clean. Prices are reasonable as well.
I rang and asked if I could order for collection twice and I was greeted to being hung up on. Phoned again and said ‘you put the phone down on me’ completely dismissed... still I ordered but they said no cod available, pointless. Completely put off won’t be ordering from these, rude.

Quick Facts About Regal

Regal Place, based on the comments provided, has several strengths and weaknesses that should be taken into consideration. In terms of strengths, it is mentioned multiple times that the chips at Regal Place are nice, hot, and freshly cooked. Additionally, items like beans, curry, and gravy are well-liked by customers. The friendly and polite service from some of the staff members is also highlighted as a positive aspect of the experience. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and generous portion sizes, particularly for the kebab meat and chips. Finally, there are positive reviews specifically for the haddock, with customers praising its freshness, crispy batter, and value for money.
However, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed. One major issue is the inconsistency in food quality. It is mentioned that certain items, such as fish, fishcakes, and sausages, are cooked before ordering and often left under heat lamps for an extended period, resulting in dried out and unappetizing food. Some customers have expressed disappointment with the taste and texture of certain dishes, including sausages that taste "foul" and chips that do not taste right. Hygiene is also a concern, with one customer stating that the hygiene rating is "definitely a lucky day" and others mentioning a change in suppliers that negatively affected the food quality.
Furthermore, there are complaints about the owner's behavior towards women, describing him as despising women and being abrupt and dismissive. This type of behavior can create a hostile environment for customers and negatively impact their experience. The inconsistent service from one of the female staff members is also noted as a hit or miss element.
Another weakness is the poor customer service experienced when attempting to place a phone order. Being hung up on multiple times and dismissed when questioning the previous hang-ups showcases a lack of professionalism and courtesy, potentially driving customers away.
In summary, Regal Place has strengths in terms of its hot and tasty chips, certain menu items like beans, curry, and gravy, friendly staff members, and positive reviews for the haddock. However, weaknesses lie in the inconsistent food quality, hygiene concerns, negative interactions with the owner, and poor phone service. Addressing these weaknesses would be crucial for improving the overall customer experience at Regal Place.
